Internal Organization
The State Attorney's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina performs its tasks in two organizational units.
The core business activities (protection of the property and property interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina financed from the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina) are carried out within the organizational unit of the Attorney General’s office holders and performed by the Assistants of the Attorney General.
The tasks of administrative-technical and material financial support for the performance of tasks within the competence of the Organizational unit of the holders of the Attorney General's office are performed within the administrative unit of the administration of the Attorney General’s office.
The organizational unit of the Office of the Attorney General is managed by the Secretary of the Attorney General's Office.
The organizational unit of the Office of the Attorney General is managed by the Secretary of the Attorney General's Office.
The General Attorney's assistants perform the function of the Attorney General’s office.
The Assistant Attorneys assist the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General in their work. In the representation before the court and other bodies, the Assistant Attorney Generals have the powers assigned to them by the Attorney General.
An Assistant Attorney General may be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina who is a law graduate who has passed the bar exam and has experience in working in judicial bodies, the legal profession and other state bodies, companies (societies) and other legal entities for at least 5 (five) years of passing the bar exam, having gained a high reputation as a legal expert by working in these bodies and legal entities.

Secretary of the Attorney General's Office
The Secretary of the Attorney General's Office manages the organizational unit of the Office of the Attorney General.
A citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a law graduate with a public exam and three years of work experience may be appointed Secretary of the Attorney General's Office.
